PUB won the overall Grand Prize in London in the Golden World Awards for Excellence 2008 organised by International Public Relations Association (IPRA). The Golden World Awards is widely recognized as one of the highest accolades in the international public relations community.

PUB won the prestigious Stockholm Industry Water Award at the World Water Week in Stockholm in 2007.
Established in 2000, the Stockholm Industry Water Award recognises innovative corporate development of water and wastewater process technologies, contributions to environmental improvement through improved performance in production processes, new products and other significant contributions by businesses and industries that help improve the world water situation. |

PUB’s Marina Barrage was awarded the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award 2007 at CAFEO 2007 (Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations) in the Philippines. |

Institution of Engineers Singapore Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award 2007 |

PUB was awarded the IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award in 2007 for its engineering feat in building Marina Barrage.
The Marina Barrage is a dam that is built across the Marina Channel, forming Singapore’s first reservoir in the city. The 15th reservoir, Marina Reservoir, is the largest and most urbanised catchment at 10,000 hectares or one-sixth the size of Singapore.

In recognition of their long-standing commitment, to the SHARE programme, ComChest awarded PUB its highest honour, the Pinnacle Award, in 2007.

Green Office Label, 2007 |
|
At the workplace, PUB adopts simple yet practical eco-office practices to conserve resources. For this effort, PUB was awarded the Green Office Label by the Singapore Environment Council in 2007.

PUB's pilot project using wetland technology was awarded the Innovator Award and the Enterprising Agency Award by the Enterprise Challenge of the Prime Minister’s Office.

PUB garnered three awards at the 2006 International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress and Exhibition in Beijing.

PUB was awarded two quality certifications in 2005 – the Singapore Quality Class and the Singapore Innovation Class award. PUB also successfully renewed its Singapore Quality Class status in 2005 for another three years. PUB was awarded the Singapore Innovation Award in 2006. |

PUB's Chestnut Avenue Waterworks and Seletar NEWater Factory were given Highly Commended awards at the first Global Water Awards.
Awarded by UK's Global Water Intelligence, in recognition of accomplishments in the water and wastewater industry, Chestnut Avenue Waterworks contractors Hyflux/Zenon accepted the Highly Commended award for its outstanding ultrafiltration system while Hyflux/CH2M Hill were conferred the award for setting the standard for water recycling at the Seletar NEWater Factory. |
