The NEWater Visitor Centre was given a makeover last year and reopened 14 weeks later with more fun and engaging exhibits and interactive games.

The new look was unveiled first to the delegates of the International Monetary Fund/World Bank meetings in September 2006.

Visitors can now look forward to an enhanced experience on Singapore's water story and NEWater processes with the help of new interactive exhibits and games. An immediate hit with the young is the simulator raft, which allows visitors to stay dry while rafting down Singapore's active, beautiful and clean waterways. At the Waterwise Arcade, giant calculators help visitors work out how much water can be saved by adopting simple water-saving habits.

With these attractions, the NEWater Visitor Centre now tells a more complete and engaging story about Singapore's quest for a sustainable water supply and how everyone can play a part in achieving this.
