Judging and Selection Process


PUB works with a panel of judges from the 3P (People, Private and Public) sectors to select the winners.

Nominations are assessed based on the following criteria.

1) Leadership, Commitment and Structure

How the water-related efforts are integrated into the organisation’s overall activities, core functions and processes:

  • Set up policy/vision/mission statements to guide water efforts
  • Appoint individuals/teams to look into water efforts
  • Management commitment and support
  • Presence of a good track record in protecting water resources (and the environment)
  • Strive towards continuous improvements
  •  

    2) Impact of initiatives on water resources

    The positive results of initiatives (project, programme, process etc):

  • Adoption of good water conservation practices
  • Efforts taken to keep our water resources clean
  • Future plans
  •  

    3) Promotion of good water practices among stakeholders

    How initiatives Educate (raise awareness), Encourage (providing incentives and support to encourage action) and Engage (forming partnerships and collaborations) stakeholders:

  • Employees, members, students etc
  • Contractors, suppliers, partners and general public etc
  • Others
