A Spirit of Sharing and Caring

The spirit of sharing and caring has always been an integral part of PUB’s culture. We believe in being responsible corporate citizens who make a difference to society. We focus our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in three areas as detailed in our CSR framework.

Our CSR Efforts

PUB’s CSR approach involves cultivating enduring partnerships with charitable organisations, with a focus on meaningful collaboration and contributions. Over the years, we have actively supported various causes, aligning our efforts with charitable organisations that share our vision for a better, more inclusive society. Past collaborations include dedicated partnerships with Singapore Children’s Society (2004 to 2007), PEACE-Connect Neighbourhood Link (2007 to 2012) and Metta Welfare Association (2013 to 2020).

We are proud to support AWWA Ltd, and have organised events for their children and seniors. Through our collaboration, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of the individuals and communities served by AWWA.

PUB’s employees have been contributing to the SHARE programme since 1986 and are firm supporters of the Community Chest (ComChest). In recognition of our long-standing commitment, ComChest awarded PUB its highest honour - the Pinnacle Award, in 2007.

PUB has also been a supporter of the Vertical Challenge - an annual fundraiser organised by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. Through active staff participation and generous donations, the Vertical Challenge raises funds for beneficiaries of the President’s Challenge.
