Overview

PUB will be launching a grant call on 13 Sep 2021 under the Research Innovation and Enterprise 2025 Competitive Funding for Water Research (CWR) programme to invite Institutes of Higher Learning, research institutions and industries to submit proposals.

RFP 2102

Projecting the Impacts of Climate Change on Singapore’s Water System

As the effects of climate change become increasingly pronounced around the world, there is need to address the longer-term impacts of climate change on Singapore’s water systems, including the effects on various water sources such as local catchment, seawater and NEWater. This RFP hence aims to study the impact climate change has on the Singapore water system for the next 10, 20 and 40 years, so as to guide the formulation of future adaptation strategies.

The study shall address two focus areas, namely the impact to (i) water quality and (ii) PUB’s infrastructure. Applicants are also free to propose other areas of study, except for areas related to flooding and coastal protection where separate studies are already ongoing.

More details on the RFP 2102 can be found in the Fact Sheet
