Floating Wetland, Punggol Reservoir

Another wildlife sanctuary awaits fishes and birds when Sungei Punggol is dammed up and a floating wetland about half a football field is created in the upcoming Punggol Reservoir. In addition, a fixed foot bridge and a floating boardwalk will connect the future Sengkang Park with the Anchorvale Community Club and Sengkang Sports Complex. Works will be completed by early 2010.

New connectivity: The Sengkang Floating Island links up the Sengkang Park (left side of the photo) and the Anchorvale Community Club and the Sengkang Sports Complex (right side of the photo).

Pick your fruit: Enjoy the view from the mangosteen pavilion, rest on the lime and orange seats, or peek through the glass surface of the orange to see the life brimming in the waters underneath.
