Water Efficiency Management Plan

As a new initiative under the 10% Challenge Programme, the Water Efficiency Management Plan aims to help non-domestic customers better manage and improve their efficiency in water consumption and help them reduce costs.

Through this initiative, PUB hopes to encourage customers prepare and submit their Water Efficiency Management Plan using the template (see below) voluntarily and develop a stronger sense of management in water. By developing a comprehensive plan to cut down on water consumption, they will reduce operational costs by using water efficiently.

Customers can tap on PUB's existing Water Efficiency Fund to implement their water saving initiatives if eligibility criteria are met.

The Water Efficiency Management Plan will allow the customers to:

1. find out the breakdown of the current water usage in their premises and/ or in different parts of the manufacturing processes;
2. understand and calculate the true cost of water;
3. identify water saving measures that can be readily applied in their management systems and processes;
4. establish an action plan which identifies measures in water savings, priorities and implementation timelines.
