NEWater Visitor Centre
The NEWater Visitor Centre is the focal point of PUB’s public education on NEWater. First opened in 2003, the Centre highlights the importance of water and how Singapore leverages on advances in technology to reclaim water. Visitors are able to view firsthand the operation of the advanced dual-membrane and ultraviolet technologies used to produce NEWater. Admission to the centre is free.
NEWater Visitor Centre’s popularity has won it the Best Sightseeing/Leisure/Educational Programme at the 20th Tourism Awards 2005 and the IWA Marketing & Communication Award 2006.
From 17 Apr to 22 Jun 2012, NEWater Visitor will be closed for renovation. Come back in June to check out the new visitor centre.
You will also get to see a NEWater factory that is incorporated in the NEWater Visitor Centre. You will be able to witness at first hand the operation of advanced membrane and ultraviolet technologies in the production of NEWater.

Private Shuttle
There are shuttle services provided from Tanah Merah MRT Station to the Visitor Centre. The pickup time for the shuttle buses is indicated as shown:
