WELS Ratings

Look out for the labels on water-efficient products:

Label for Products Under
Mandatory WELS

Label for Products Under
Voluntary WELS

Main features:
The more ticks shaded, the more water-efficient a product is.
There is an extra rating for Products Under Mandatory WELS, that is 0 (Zero Tick).
The label displays the product's Water Consumption and the following product information - Type of Product, Brand, Model.
Registration Number is displayed on the Mandatory WELS Label, while Serial Number is displayed on the Voluntary WELS Label.

There are 4 categories for the ratings:

Zero Tick
Good
Very Good
Excellent

The rating given to a product is determined by its category, and its flow rate/flush capacity.
