Visitors can rent or use public space at Marina Barrage to organise activities or events.

For public space that is booked by organisations or individuals, the space is reserved exclusively for them to use only. For more information on the venues available for rental in Marina Barrage, please click here.

For group organised activities, organisers are advised to write in to PUB_MarinaBarrage@pub.gov.sg at least 14 working days before the activity date to check on the availability of public space at Marina Barrage.

Recommended Etiquette of Using Public Space

For public space that is not booked, the space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are advised to share this open space with other members of the public.

To ensure public safety and enjoyment of all visitors, the following actions and/or activities at Marina Barrage are not allowed:

  • No structural setups such as tables, chairs and/or tying of banners are allowed.
  • No cordoning off any areas is allowed.
  • No laying of demarcating materials, such as strings, sticks, or tape are allowed
  • Bubbles should be played only on the lawn area, and not the concrete pavements/ground.
  • No portable sound devices/speakers are allowed to be used.
  • No electrical consumption will be provided for your activities.
  • Kite-flying at night is not allowed.
  • Kindly help to ensure all litter are cleared off-site after your activities.
  • No obstruction to Marina Barrage operations and other public visitors.
  • No competitive sporting activities/Ball Games/Frisbee allowed on the Green Roof.
  • No activities involving the frivolous use of water are allowed.
  • No open flame activities such as barbeque, candles, lanterns, cooking, etc.
  • No squatting/sleeping overnight at Marina Barrage.
  • No flying of Drones/UAVs unless otherwise approved by CAAS & SPF.
  • No activities that are considered to be political, religious or illegal in nature. Full discretion will be exercised by PUB.
  • No product-sampling.
  • No distribution of items (e.g. collaterals and physical items) to public.
  • No sales of items or any monetary transactions are allowed.
For chartered buses, please drop off passengers at the designated drop-off point, located at entrance of Marina Barrage, and not in the Marina Barrage car park.

Everyone can do their part to keep the Marina Barrage clean by ensuring all litters are disposed off-site after the activities.
