The Academy conducts International Programmes for global professionals. Dedicated programmes for international participants include the Singapore Cooperation Programmes (SCP) sponsored by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Temasek Foundation Water Leadership Programme jointly conducted by the Singapore Water Academy and the NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Water Policy, Institute of Water Policy.
The Academy works closely with strategic partners like the Institute of Water Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore Water Association, NUS Enterprise and the International Desalination Association (IDA) to build expertise and groom the water workforce.
The Academy provides customised programmes to address differing needs of different customers. Each customised programme is designed carefully to address specific desired learning outcomes, and is usually coupled with site visits to relevant facilities. The Academy has also conducted customised programmes overseas, in China, India and the Middle East.
