Overview

Previously known as Singapore Utilities International Private Limited, PUB Consultants Private Limited (PUBC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PUB. PUBC harnesses PUB’s experience and resources to support activities that grow and promote technologies that are key to PUB’s operational needs, as well as facilitate the internationalisation of Singapore-based companies in collaboration with other stakeholders. Through PUB's international network, PUBC supports Singapore-based water companies in their overseas ventures by opening doors to key markets like South-East Asia, China and India.

Singapore Cooperation Enterprise/Jacob (then CH2M Hill) – Bangalore, India

The programme aimed to assist the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) in building capabilities of its key government officials to develop and implement alternate sources of water through recycling and reuse. The programme was supported by a grant from Temasek Foundation, and co-funded by the BWSSB.

Binnies (then Black & Veatch) – Maynilad Water, Philippines 

Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) had engaged Binnies to deliver development of guidelines standards, and performance specifications for sewage collection network and treatment systems. PUBC shared Singapore's experience and provided training services to Maynilad for this project.

Keppel Seghers - Doha North Sewage Treatment Plant, Qatar

Public Works Authority of Qatar had awarded the design and build as well as 10-year operation and maintenance services of the Doha North Sewage Treatment Works (Doha North STW) to Keppel Seghers. With a peak design capacity to treat wastewater up to 439,000 m3 per day, the Doha North Sewage Treatment Plant could serve a population of over 900,000. This facility featured an advanced biological treatment processes as well as membrane and ultra-violet technologies to produce high quality reclaimed water for reuse. PUBC trained the Keppel Seghers O&M staff and provided advisory during the testing and commissioning of the plant.
