Innovation Budget

Overview

PUB Innovation Budget (IB) is a fund ringfenced from Enterprise Singapore to support commercialisation of innovations from water (Municipal & Industrial) and coastal protection companies. IB can also be used to support overseas test-bedding where there is further technology development conducted. 

IB aims to support water (Municipal & Industrial) and coastal protection companies, especially SMEs to venture into new markets or adjacencies by defraying some of its cost.

Criteria

To be eligible for support, the applicant must fulfil the following criteria:

       - Be a business entity that is registered / incorporated in Singapore; 

       - Be physically present in Singapore;

       - Be financially able to see a project through completion;

       - Meets Enterprise Singapore's eligibility criteria for registered companies

Support level:

       - SMEs/Start-ups – Up to 70% of supportable cost

       - LLC and Consortium* with local SMEs – Up to 50% of supportable cost

*If it is a consortium approach, at least half of all participating companies need to be local SMEs.
