The main scope of work is to repair the spalling concrete and cracks on the vertical wall and to carry out cement pointing works on the rock revetment at Kallang Basin (near to Merdeka Bridge) as part of the maintenance works for Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
1.Hanging platform will be used for workers to access and for the workers to carry out the repair works on the vertical walls. Blinker lights and warning signs will be installed on the hanging platform to warn other reservoir users.
2.Safety boat – RC 481 will be used for access to working areas at the vertical walls and rock revetment.
Pontoon – RC 479 will also be used in the repair works on the side of the Basin wall.

3.All vessels are advised to keep a wide berth from the work platform, slow down when in the vicinity of the working areas and to keep a look out of the blinker lights on the work platform.
