Expand Construction Pte Ltd is appointed by Defence Science & Technology Agency to construct the NS Square at Marina Bay. Marina Technology and Construction Pte Ltd (MTC) is the appointed Marine Specialist for the Marine Works. The Works will include the demolition of the existing floating platform, the installation of cofferdam, construction of new building, access bridges and pontoons, and the removal cofferdam & its associated construction equipment/plants. Table 1 shows the Construction Project Schedule.
Refer to the attached drawing Figure 1 for the Master Site Plan. The limits of the construction boundaries, where vessels are required to keep clear, are defined by Navigation Buoys with respective navigation lights Buoy 1 & Buoy 2 at Working Area A as shown on Figure 2, and Buoy A & Buoy B at Working Area B as shown on Figure 3.
All vessels are advised to keep clear of the construction boundaries and reduce to a speed of 5 knots while passing through the Temporary Navigation Buoys during the project duration.
