Police Dragon Boat Championship 2023 (Police Regatta)

Overview

1. The Singapore Dragon Boat association (SDBA) will be organizing the Dragon Boat Race for Singapore Police Force in Kallang Basin. SAVA Private Limited will be setting up the start-pontoon and lane buoys.
2. We will be using the existing permanent Kallang Basin race course.
3. All motorised vessels are advised not to enter the race course during the race times.
4. All stakeholders are advised that SDBA and SAVA will be operating out from Sports Hub Water Sports Centre (SH-WSC) on the dates stipulated.
5. The table below shows the schedule for all activities.

6. Water movement plan

9 Oct, Mon 0900 hrs to 11 Oct, Wed 1200 hrs

Towing of Start Pontoon from SH-WC to 200m mark of the existing race course and laying of lane buoys after the finish line of the race course.

11 Oct, Wed 1200 hrs to 1800 hrs

12 Oct, Wed 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs

-             300m race

12 Oct, Wed 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs (13 Oct as spare day)

-              Towing of 15xDB12 from SH-WC to KWSC

-              Towing of start pontoon from 200m mark of existing race course to SH-WC

-              Removal of 6 lane buoys after the end of the race course
