1. The DB Hearts Challenge 2023 is jointly organised by People’s Association, PAssion Wave @ Marina Bay and DB Hearts.

2. The event will involve Dragon Boat Sprint Races. It will be a 4-lane Dragon Boat Race towards the end of the 200m mark from the direction of Marina Channel within the existing racing lanes leading towards Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

3. The competition will be held in the racecourse of Marina Channel within Marina Reservoir on 11th November 2023, 0900hrs to 1300hrs.

Water Traffic Management

  1. The race venue takes into consideration existing demarcation areas and movement zones within the Marina Reservoir for this 200M straight course race.

     

  2. 3 Safety boats will be deployed to manage the race and assist with traffic control when necessary.

     

  3. All other motorised vessels / non-motorised vessels are advised to give clear water to the dragon boats during the race.

     

  4. Other dragon boat users to exercise caution and maintain steering control at all times, i.e. do not “easy” or rest under Benjamin Sheares Bridge during the period of the event.
