1. Singapore Canoe Federation will be organizing the 2024 Singapore Canoe Marathon in Marina Reservoir, Kallang Basin and Marina Channel. 

2. The table below shows the schedule for all activities.

3. All vessels are to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Keep clear of the buoys setup on 18 Jan 2024 and removal on 21/22 Jan 2024.

  • Stay clear of the race area on 19 to 21 Jan 2024 and to ply strictly within the navigational route as set out in the maps.

  • Exercise caution, reduce the speed and not to create any wakes for the paddlers.

  • Comply with the instructions and signals given by the safety boats crew and race official boats when in the vicinity. Safety and race official boats will display flags with SCF logos.

6. Safety Resource Deployment

  • RZ 51 and RZ 52 will be designate as safety and traffic marshal duty, patrolling along the orange route just outside of the race route.

  • RZ 31, RZ 32 and RZ 33 will be stationary point serving as outpost for Technical Official to observe the race and point of warning for other vessel if RZ 51 and RZ 52 are out of range during patrolling.

  • Safety Kayaker/s will be deployed at strategic point/s during different race category.

  • RZ 34 will be on standby at KWSC.

7. General Traffic Segregation Plan

Traffic Segregation Plan for Caution Areas

At all Caution Areas:

  • Motorised vessels must follow the Traffic Segregation Plan and instructions of safety boats

  • Motorised vessels must give way to race participants

  • Motorised vessels must exercise caution when travelling across or around the race route

  • Safety boats will regulate and monitor traffic at Caution Area
