1.                  The Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA) in partnership with the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham), will be organising the SDBA-AustCham 10km Dragon Boat Challenge in Marina Reservoir.

2.                  The event is an “Expedition” type of race. Therefore, there are no definitive race course markings atypical to other type of straight course dragon boat racing events.

3.                  The racing route makes use of existing markers in Marina Reservoir as waypoints/checkpoints for the racers to navigate by.

4.                  All motorised vessels are advised to give clear water to the racing dragon boats.

5.                  The dragon boat racers are informed to avoid the established travelling routes of river taxi and DUCKTour vessels but please note that at some points, the dragon boats may need to cross these established travelling routes.

6.                  SDBA will deploy Safety Boats (power boats flying the ‘SDBA’ flags) with Race Umpires aboard, at the crossing points to control the passage of dragon boats. The Umpires will communicate to all vessels by using signal flags (“white” all clear ; “red” stop) and/or loudhailers.

7.                  Please kindly allow the dragon boats to pass you or cross your path.

8.                  5KM RACE ROUTE

9.                  10KM RACE ROUTE
