Consultation Appointment Booking


In view of the current Novel Corona Virus situation, we encourage you to use our e-services (email, phone or skype) for your consultation needs so as to minimise your time spent in public spaces. Rest assured that you will continue to receive quality service through our remote channels. We thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe environment for all. ​


QPs can book appointments with relevant PUB officers to consult on drainage, sewerage and water supply matters. This e-service aims to reduce the long waiting times faced by QPs during walk-in consultations and to improve the quality of the consultations.

Things to note when booking an appointment:

  • State clearly the issues to be discussed.
  • Attach the necessary documents (DIP/SIP/WSP, drawings of site plan, Basement/1st storey plan, sectional, elevation, etc.)
  • Appointment need to be made at least 3 working days (earliest up to 10 working days) in advance. This is to allow sufficient time to study the project details before consultation.
  • Up to 3 appointments can be reserved within the time period.
  • The appointment slots that are shown reflect all the available meeting slots.
  • Upon submitting the request for consultation, a confirmation email will be sent to the requestor. Please click on the link provided in the email to confirm the appointment or the slot will be released to others users.
  • All appointments will be held at Environment Building, Level 2, Customer Service Centre. QPs may approach the Security Counter at West Wing entrance for directions.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment slot. Bring along a copy of your appointment confirmation email for registration. Keep the discussion within the scheduled time. Note: Arriving outside the appointment time may result in longer wait.
  • Upon arriving the Customer Service Centre, QP can look out for a list of consultation appointments on the notice board and tick off his or her name. Next, QP can call the BPU hotline at 6731 3512 to inform him or her of his or her arrival. When the consultation officer arrives at the service centre, he or she may call out the QP's name if the place is too crowded. Alternatively, QP may approach the counter staff for help when he or she is unable to locate the PUB consultation officer.
  • For the benefit of other users, please cancel or change your confirmed appointments if you are unable to make it for the meeting.
  • Please note that consultations are intended for clarifications on your submissions and shall not be taken as approvals for deviations from the code of practice. QPs are required to make a formal submission through Corenet to seek PUB’s approval.
  • Water consultations are for clarifications on submissions for internal water reticulation drawings for buildings. For case specific query, please contact the officer-in-charge directly. For other water matters, such as diversion of existing PUB water mains and protection of existing PUB water mains, please email to
