Who is eligible?
Households that are residing in HDB flats built between 1987 and 1992 AND are currently placed on community assistance schemes are eligible for this project. There is no need for the households to make their application to PUB.
How will eligible households be notified?
PUB will notify eligible households via letters from June 2017 to inform them of this project. Letters will be sent out in batches and households should receive their letter of notification no later than May 2018.
Upon receiving PUB's notification letter, households that are still fitted with 9-litre water closet(s) and would like to have these water closet(s) replaced can refer to the following steps:
1) Read the instructions in the notification letter
2) Make arrangements with PUB or its appointed contractor to replace the water closet(s)
3) Arrange for a family member to be present during the installation of the new water closet(s). The whole replacement process will take about 3 hours for each water closet.

You may wish to enter the postal code of your flat to check if your HDB flat is built between 1987 and 1992.
