Drinking Water Quality

Water Quality Monitoring

PUB has put in place a comprehensive and robust sampling and monitoring programme to verify our water quality from source to tap in order to ensure that water supplied is safe for consumption. The sampling and monitoring programme developed is based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality and is being reviewed regularly. As our tap water is well within the WHO drinking water guidelines, it is suitable for drinking without any further filtration.

Drinking Water Quality

The quality of our drinking water is also regulated by the Environmental Public Health (EPH) (Quality of Piped Drinking Water) Regulations 2008. The drinking water standards set out under the EPH Regulations were based on the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality. PUB will make continuous effort to maintain drinking water quality at the highest possible level.
